These pictures are from a ride I took on August 7th 2004 in and around the area of the Shenandoah River Valley and Blue Ridge mountains. The morning started out with temperatures in the mid 60's and never got higher than the low 70's the entire day. Very unusual for Washington DC in August. Spent around 12 hours riding and taking pictures and totaled around 300 miles on my 1973 R60/5 BMW. What a great way to spend and bright sunny Saturday! RocketMan
